CHEERLEADING SPORTSWEAR SIZING

Flipdog Sportswear has put a lot of thought and research into the needs and challenges of sportswear for cheerleading squads. Our clothing is comfortable to wear, functional and flattering to the figure. We know that when you look good, you feel and perform better with a higher level of confidence.

We offer mix and match shorts, shirts, pants and jackets in both form fit and relaxed fit team wear in a wide variety of colors. Most likely you will size our clothing just like anything else. T-shirts size just like regular t-shirts, unless they are fitted.

Nearly 45% of cheerleading squads prefer half shell / fly away skirt combinations, 35% choose a halter shell with an A-line skirt. The remainder typically go with a full shell and pleated skirt. Regardless of what your cheerleading team decides, here are some things to keep in mind:

• Comfort. Put comfortable, well-fitting clothing at the top of your list. Nothing can make you more miserable than uncomfortable clothing with maybe the exception of uncomfortable shoes. Look for cheerleading camp wear made with high quality materials that produce flexible, lightweight and durable cheer gear. Sportswear like ours!
• Fit / Size. Cheerleader wear should fit well but also allow adequate freedom to move.  To insure the fit of your cheerleading outfit or sportswear, stop by a tailor and ask for them to take your exact measurements. Be aware that some of our brands can fit differently from others, so if you're used to one brand and are making a change to another, ask how the new brand runs.
